We see a South Africa where clean, affordable drinking water is no longer a luxury bought one plastic bottle at a time — but a built-in amenity, as ordinary as electricity, lifts, or internet. Buildings stop being passive consumers of water and start being trusted sources of it.
Our mission
To make purified water infrastructure as standard in residential buildings as electricity and internet — and to turn that infrastructure into passive income for the people who own those buildings.
We do it by owning and operating the equipment ourselves, removing every cost and every hassle for the landlord, and sharing the revenue every single month.
The problem we're solving
A daily cost. A daily inconvenience. A daily waste.
Across South African buildings, residents don't trust the tap and so they pay — every month, every week — for bottled or delivered water. Landlords earn nothing from it, and the building inherits the plastic. AquaNode exists to close that gap.
Who's behind AquaNode
Proudly South African. Built by a young Black founder solving a problem he grew up around.
AquaNode is a 100% South African company founded by a young Black South African entrepreneur with a background in property and construction. The idea came from a simple observation repeated in building after building: every property has tap water, but residents don't trust it, pay a premium to avoid it, and the building itself earns nothing from it.
We're not importing a foreign solution. We're building purified water infrastructure made for South African buildings, South African residents, and South African landlords — owned and operated locally, with revenue that stays in the country.
Our work is rooted in a belief that essential infrastructure in South Africa should be built, owned, and benefited from by the communities it serves.
